In 2009, Larsson's home country of Sweden chose to recreate the Millenium trilogy on the silver screen. In 2008, Larsson became one of best-selling fiction authors thanks to the English translation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest becoming the bestselling books in 2010. Stieg Larsson is the journalist and activist responsible for the best-selling Millennium trilogy of crime novels, which were published in 2005 after Larsson's death in 2004. ![]()
